Configuring the iSCSI System

2 Choose an initiator iSCSI name. Adaptec recommends that you

apply the default name. However, you can assign your own

iSCSI name to the adapter if you uncheck Apply Default iSCSI

Name and enter your own unique iSCSI name. Click Next to

continue.

3 Select Enable DHCP if your network supports it, or manually

assign a static IP address, subnet mask, and gateway IP address.

Click Next to continue.

4 Enter the IP address of your DNS (Domain Name Server). If

you do not have one, leave the field blank and click Next to

continue.
