The Threshold Column
The Threshold column displays the temperature at which an alarm
will be sounded if the temperature goes above the threshold. In the
example, the temperature threshold is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You
can change the temperature threshold by using the enclosure
set temperature command.
The Status Column
The Status column displays the status of the temperature
displayed in the Temper atu r e column. The enclosure show
temperature command can display the temperature status
values listed in Table 9-9.

Status Meaning
NORMAL The temperature is within the normal range for this
temperature sensor. In this case, the enclosure
management device does not send an alarm. This is
the value that appears in the example.
ABNORMAL The temperature exceeds the normal range for this
temperature sensor. In this case, the enclosure
management device may send an alarm.
